Shakeer Meeran
Managing Partner
Shakeer Meeran is the Managing Partner at Skylights Energy. He is also a partner at Star Switchgears, a control panel manufacturing firm operating in Bangalore since 1980. With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Shakeer's extensive background spans significant roles in both the North American and Indian power markets. Prior to establishing Skylights Energy, he spent about nine years as a Senior Energy Consultant at General Electric in New York, where he specialized in power plant modelling, power economic analysis, predictive maintenance, and energy management applications. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.
